OMG.... we didn't know the tasty sushi restaurant was very close to us. We had early dinner with in-laws, and my mother-in-law and her sister did not enjoy raw foods, but they both liked the foods. We will definitely come back again. *Next visit, I will try to take food pictures

A bit of a late post- I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived at this charming little sushi joint, but I was pleasantly surprised! We arrived during happy hour, which is conveniently offered most of the day from Monday to Thursday and even longer on weekends. Just in time at 6:30 PM, we took advantage of the great timing. We ordered six rolls along with a large Sapporo: The Red Dragon, Rainbow, Jalapeno, Spicy Tuna, Crunchy Salmon, and OMG rolls. My favorites were definitely the Rainbow, OMG, and Red Dragon. Each roll was delicious, and the extensive menu means I’ll definitely be back to try even more rolls. Missing star because the other rolls were just mehhh like not good at all and the service was ok.

“See you tomorrow!” sounds like a joke when you hear the staff chorus it to every exiting guest, but after you taste the food, you’ll consider coming back for the next meal, let alone the next day. Delicious food with beautiful presentation. Good mix of options for a variety of diets and tastes, including more fancy (and expensive) items if you want a nice date night, or simpler fare for economical prices. Staff are friendly and attentive without being overly intrusive. Lots of cool tchotchkes and funny art to enjoy while you wait for your food to be made fresh. My husband and I love it here!

Everything was so fresh and tasty. I was excited they carry my favorite Japanese beer “Kirin”. I can only imagine it getting packed during busy hours as the location and seating area is compact. Can’t wait to return and try different items on their extensive menu. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.

Five stars. I came for sushi and left questioning every bad sushi decision I’ve ever made. The fish was so fresh it felt disrespectful to dip it in soy sauce. The rice was perfectly balanced, not mushy, not dry, just sitting there quietly doing its job like a professional. Every roll showed up looking like it had a résumé. Service was fast, friendly, and somehow always there exactly when I needed more water or made eye contact with the menu again. No hovering. No disappearing act. Just solid execution. Portions were generous without being sloppy, prices felt fair, and nothing tasted like it came from a freezer or a shortcut. Even the wasabi had personality. If you’re debating where to get sushi, stop debating. Go here. Future you will be annoyed you didn’t go sooner.

This place is decent; considering the price and portion size, it's quite affordable. It falls into the category of satisfying and hearty rather than refined Japanese cuisine. The thick slices of sashimi are a highlight, with 15 pieces plus a small roll, priced at $35. The salmon and mackerel (the whitest one) are particularly delicious, especially the tender and fatty salmon. Unfortunately, the yellowtail and yellowtail are a bit disappointing in texture. I ended up not finishing those two, but the tuna exceeded my expectations, so I polished it off. The salad is okay, and the miso soup has a mild flavor. As for the iced water, it has a strong mineral taste, and even adding lemon slices doesn't quite mask it. Odd, isn't it? Oh, and the accompanying rice is regular white rice, not vinegar-seasoned rice. The grains are well-cooked and distinct, making it a tasty bowl of rice. Considering the price, I'd give it **four stars**! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
